清华大学公共管理学院副教授，清华大学国情研究院副研究员，多伦多大学访问学者，曾经是中国社会科学院数量经济与技术经济研究所副研究员，经济系统分析室副主任。从事数量经济学、发展经济学、教育与人力资本方面学术研究。主持国家自然科学基金、教育部人文社科基金、中国博士后基金和部委有关人口老龄化、基础设施与经济发展等方面的课题研究30余项。出版基础设施与经济发展、人口老龄化方面的专著。在"Journal of Human Resources"、"Econometrics Journal"、"Journal Of Comparative Economics"、 "World Development"、《经济研究》、《世界经济》、《中国工业经济》等国内外学术期刊发表80余篇。

担任国内权威经济学期刊《经济研究》《管理世界》《经济学季刊》《世界经济》《数量经济技术经济研究》《中国农村经济》《中国工业经济》等和国际经济学杂志"Singapore Economic Review"、"Economic Modeling"、"Applied Economics"等匿名评审专家。
